Entrepreneurial Modules and Study Groups
So You Want to Be an Entrepreneur
This course is designed to engage entrepreneurs in discussions about Chatham County's economic growth and needed industries, provide participants with a resource notebook for starting, growing, and scaling businesses, connect entrepreneurs with resource providers from the Chatham County Innovation Lab, and offer initial one-on-one business assessments with WEBB coaches.
The "Story-Driven Marketing: Crafting Content that Resonates"
This course is a 4-6 week program focusing on leveraging storytelling techniques for brand and marketing strategies. Participants will learn essential storytelling skills to shape their entrepreneurial narrative, define their business's core values, and create a compelling Unique Value Proposition. The course emphasizes customer connection through active listening exercises, provides practical storytelling frameworks for various marketing materials, and offers a story-based workbook for developing key business elements.
Amplify Your Business through Storytelling
This 4–6 week study group or independent study is designed to equip you with the strategies and techniques needed to create impactful marketing campaigns that drive growth and engagement. At the heart of every successful campaign are your clients and customers. Modern consumers crave connection—they want to see the faces, hear the stories, and understand the values behind the brands they support.
Through this course, you'll learn how to harness the power of storytelling to craft authentic, effective marketing campaigns to connect you with your ideal customer or client. You'll walk away with a clear, actionable framework to elevate your brand, build trust, and drive meaningful results.

Scale Up - Taking Your Business to the Next Level
"Scale Up"
"Scale Up" is a dynamic entrepreneurial program designed to equip small business owners with the tools, strategies, and mindsets needed to grow and scale their ventures effectively. "Scale Up" dives into essential topics such as increasing sales through strategic customer engagement, implementing scalable technologies, focusing business offerings, and developing strong leadership and team management skills.
With a focus on growth and abundance mindsets, participants will explore how to build customer-centric processes, optimize pricing, expand their offerings, and harness powerful marketing strategies. A practical goal-setting journal is incorporated into the program to encourage intentional planning and measurable progress. Whether you're just beginning to think about scaling or ready to take your business to the next level, "Scale Up" offers a comprehensive roadmap tailored to the unique challenges and opportunities faced by local entrepreneurs.
Time Management
This Time Management module helps you take control of your time, boost productivity, and work more effectively—both individually and in teams. You'll explore key topics including self-management, collaborative time-saving habits, proven productivity strategies, and sustainable practices for balancing time, energy, and well-being.
By the end, you'll have practical tools to manage your time with greater purpose and efficiency.
Financial Bootcamp
This learning module will help you build a strong financial foundation and prepare for funding. You'll learn how to refine your business model, strengthen your financial system, create a solid financial plan, and get investor-ready. By the end of this learning module, you'll be equipped to grow your business with confidence and clarity.
