Become a part of “The Remedy”

Written by Stephanie Terry, Executive Director and Rinnie Orr, Associate Director

As we, the staff at WEBB Squared, work together to build WEBB Squared, our new nonprofit that stands for “Wealth through Entrepreneurship for Black Businesses – it’s imperative that we talk about the narratives surrounding money, wealth and race. While It’s not always easy to navigate through these charged and sensitive topics, we dive in anyway, knowing that the way forward requires questioning the stories we have been told.  This process of thinking and reflecting together is what we call a Conscious Conversation.

“The Revolution Begins with Dialogue”

~Stephanie Terry, WEBB Squared executive director

We recently released a podcast “The Remedy” – where we have vulnerable conversations about who we are as white people, as black people, and as human beings living in this world that’s so divided.

We believe “the remedy” to the race divide lies in the process of critical conversations and powerful dialogue. Race equity is a destination but the solutions are found on the journey.

To that end, we invite you to listen to the podcast and join us in conversation. We might not have all the answers, we do believe that “the remedy”  lies in the conversation and the coming together as friends and in community to emerge remedies that address these issues.

We invite you to listen – on Spotify (or wherever you listen to your favorite podcasts)!

We hope you will listen and be a part of our ever growing community!

BE a part of the revolution!

BE a part of the dialogue!

BE a part of the journey!
